I've been thinking about how to set up a decent music-listening space without making too much noise for the people living nearby. I enjoy listening to metal with a good amount of detail, especially when the drums and guitars really stand out, but I know loud speakers and heavy bass can become a problem in an apartment.
I'm also looking into new apartments in waxahachie tx, so I'm curious about how other music fans handle this when living in shared buildings.
Do you guys prefer studio headphones, closed-back headphones, or small speakers at a lower volume? Are there any simple ways to reduce vibrations and keep the sound from traveling through the walls?
