Is it normal for lash glue to lose retention faster in higher humidity?

Hey everyone! Quick question for the lash techs or DIY lash folks here. I recently moved to a much more humid area, and I’ve noticed my sets aren't lasting nearly as long as they used to. My client retention dropped from 4+ weeks to barely 2. Could the humidity be curing the adhesive too fast while I work? Should I adjust my drop frequency or look into a different drying speed? 100% yes! Humidity speeds up cyanoacrylate curing dramatically. If your room humidity is over ~60%, your usual 1-2 second glue might actually be flash-curing before you even place the extension onto the natural lash. That creates a weak bond, which explains the bad retention. Try running a dehumidifier in your workspace or switching to a slightly slower drying adhesive during high-humidity seasons.
