Do You Think Personal Style Matters at Metal Shows?

I've noticed that what people wear at metal shows can be almost as interesting as the music itself. Some people stick with classic band shirts and black jeans, while others mix in jackets, boots, artwork, or clothing that represents something personal about them.

I'm curious how everyone here approaches that. Do you mainly dress for comfort at shows, or do you also use your clothing to express your identity and interests? I've recently been seeing more Men's and Women's Melanin Apparel with designs that connect fashion and cultural identity, and it made me wonder how much representation matters when choosing what to wear.
