Six months into researching self publishing Canada options, brain officially fried

Started this whole self publishing Canada rabbit hole back in the spring thinking it'd take a couple weeks to figure out and here I am six months later still comparing companies and second guessing every decision. My biggest hang up has been finding someone who won't nickel and dime me on royalties later or bury weird terms in a contract I didn't read closely enough.
