I started using plastic business card sleeves a little while ago and honestly didn't expect them to make much difference, but they've been a genuine upgrade. My cards stay clean and sharp even after a full day in my bag or jacket pocket, which matters a lot before client meetings when I want everything to look polished.
What I appreciate most is that they're lightweight enough that you forget they're there, but tough enough to prevent bending and edge damage during daily carry or storage. I've also found them useful for keeping cards I collect from others in good condition no more crumpled corners by the end of a networking event.
Curious whether others have experimented with different styles or thicknesses. I've only tried standard-gauge so far. Do the thicker ones add much protection, or do they just make the card feel bulkier? Any brands or sources worth recommending?
