Took my 2019 GT out for a bit of fun on the Dubai to Al Ain road last weekend, nothing crazy just some faster driving than my usual commute, and I noticed the brakes started feeling really soft after about twenty minutes of pushing it. Like the pedal got a bit mushy and I had to push harder to get the same stopping power which was honestly a bit scary. I've had the car for about a year and I don't think the previous owner ever changed the pads so they're probably original or at least very old. I do mostly city driving in Dubai so I never noticed any issues before but now I'm thinking I need something more performance oriented that can handle heat better. Been searching for a reliable Mustang brake pad replacement Dubai garage that actually understands these cars and can recommend the right compound for someone who does occasional fast driving but mostly daily use. I don't want track pads that squeak at every traffic light but I also don't want standard ones that fade after one pull. A friend mentioned a place in Al Quoz that specializes in American muscle but I can't remember the name. Anyone here with a GT or even an EcoBoost upgraded their brakes recently? Would love to know what pads you went with and if the fade issue went away completely. Also if you know a good workshop around Al Quoz or Ras Al Khor please drop the name.
